7. How to allow users to subscribe and unsubscribe from your mailing list:

To allow users to subscribe and unsubscribe themselves from the list by sending mail to majordomo@www.yourdomain.com with the words "subscribe listname" or "unsubscribe listname" in the body. (listname is the name assigned to the mailing list when it is created) It is advisable to put a notice at the bottom of your mailing list to all users to remove themselves or add themselves to the mailing list.

8. If you send a test email and it comes back "USER UNKNOWN"

The ONLY solution is to delete the list you created and create a new list. The easiest way to recreate all your mailing list members, is to copy and paste

The new list can not be the same name as the old list or you will get the same error when testing or sending a message
